NOSE

Nose

The centre the face balances on

Precise customising, not simply higher

The nose sits at the middle of facial balance. Implant type, the right height, the angle, and the breathing problem underneath are all part of the same calculation — that calculation is what a nose operation actually is.

Nose
  1. 01The implant that suits this nose
  2. 02Height and angle read from the whole face
  3. 03The breathing problem underneath
Not as high as it will go — as balanced as the face allows, and breathing better than before.

A tall, showy nose can work against the face it sits on.

So the angle and the height are calculated against facial proportion, the implant and the technique are chosen to match, and where a functional problem exists it is corrected in the same operation rather than left for later.

Augmentation, reduction, alar work, functional correction and revision are different operations with different recovery times. They are listed separately rather than bundled as a nose job.

  1. 01 / 03

3D-CT before the plan is written

The inside of the nose is measured rather than estimated. A deviated septum, a narrowed nasal valve or chronic rhinitis is read from imaging first, and the surgical plan is written after.

  2. 02 / 03

Function and shape in one operation

Correcting how the nose breathes and correcting how it looks are not scheduled as two separate procedures when they can be done together.

  3. 03 / 03

Revision treated as its own operation

Inflammation, contracture, a deviation that came back — a revision starts from why the first operation failed, not from the shape the patient wants.
