How Much Is a Nose Job in Korea? What Sets Your Quote

How much is a nose job in Korea? The honest answer is that one figure for "a nose job" would mislead you. The same words cover a 30-minute nostril reduction and a two-and-a-half-hour revision. They cover a silicone bridge implant, your own cartilage in the tip, or a hump taken down with no implant at all. So we do not publish a price list. Instead, you send us two photos, and we give you a quote for your face and your goals, not for a procedure name.
That is not a way of avoiding the question. A price attached to a name tells you what someone else paid for an operation you may not need. A quote built from your photos tells you what your own plan involves, and it arrives with the details that matter for the trip: stay length, follow-up visits and aftercare.
In this guide you will find:
- why the same "rhinoplasty" can mean very different operations
- the factors that change a rhinoplasty quote, and why each one matters
- how to get a personalised quote, step by step, with the photo angles to send
- what to check alongside the quote before you book a flight
Why is there no single nose job korea price?
Patients often search for one nose job korea price and find numbers that do not match each other. The reason is simple. "Nose job" is a label for at least seven different operations at our clinic. Each one works on a different part of the nose, takes a different length of time, and has its own recovery.
| Operation | What is actually done | Operation time |
|---|---|---|
| Augmentation rhinoplasty | Cartilage added to the tip, implant placed along the bridge | About 2 hrs |
| Hump removal | Protruding part of the bridge ground or cut out, then cartilage or silicone for balance | About 1 hr 30 mins |
| Nasal bone osteotomy | Wide nasal bone cut and gathered inward | About 1 hr |
| Deviated nose correction | Medial and lateral osteotomies, bones relocated | About 1 hr 30 mins |
| Alarplasty | Alar rim width reduced through a designed skin incision | About 30 mins |
| Functional rhinoplasty | Deviated septum or nasal valve stenosis treated alongside the shape | About 2 hrs |
| Nose revision surgery | Bone, cartilage and soft tissue corrected after analysing the previous result | About 2 hrs 30 mins |
Two people can ask for "a higher nose" and need different plans. One has a low bridge and a flat tip, which is the classic case for augmentation rhinoplasty. The other has a hump that makes the tip look low, which is a case for hump removal. The request sounds the same. The operation, the time in theatre and the materials are not.

What changes a rhinoplasty cost in Korea?
A rhinoplasty cost in Korea is set by the plan your face needs. When we review your photos, these are the questions that decide the plan. Each one can change the quote.
| Factor | Why it changes the plan | What we look at |
|---|---|---|
| Which parts are treated | Bridge, tip, nostrils and nasal bones are separate steps, each with its own work | Front and profile photos, and what you want to change |
| Materials | The bridge is usually raised with a silicone implant; the tip is shaped with your own cartilage | Tip support, skin thickness and the height you want |
| Cartilage source | Remaining septal cartilage is checked first; ear cartilage suits tip contouring; rib cartilage is used when more volume is needed | How much structure your nose already has |
| Previous surgery | Revision analyses the cause of the earlier result, and may need implant replacement, AlloDerm or temporal fascia | Records of earlier surgery, if you have them |
| Combined procedures | Alarplasty or functional correction can be done in the same session | Nostril width and breathing concerns |
| Breathing | Rhinitis, sinusitis, a deviated septum or nasal valve stenosis add functional steps | Your symptoms, and imaging where required |
A few of these deserve a closer look.
- Implant or cartilage. One nose often uses more than one material, each where it suits. At Banobagi the nasal tip is shaped with your own cartilage, avoiding synthetic tip materials.
- Rib cartilage. It is not our default. We use it when a plan needs more volume than the septum or ear can supply, which is common in revision.
- Combinations. Augmentation rhinoplasty plus alarplasty is listed on our nose page as a popular combination. When both are done together, the nostrils are narrowed after the bridge and tip work.
- Revision. Nose revision surgery is planned around what the previous operation left behind: scar tissue, weak cartilage, graft position or bone shape.
Anaesthesia and discharge are the same across our nose procedures. Every one is performed under sedation, managed by the clinic's own full-time anaesthesiologists, and you are discharged on the day. In some cases, depending on the complexity of the surgery, an overnight stay may be recommended.
How do you get a personalised rhinoplasty quote?
Getting a rhinoplasty quote starts before you book anything. You can settle most of the plan online. Here is the order we follow.
- Take your photos. Start with a front photo and a side profile. If you can, add a 45-degree angle, which is the third view we use for nose planning. Take them somewhere with enough light.
- Say what you want to change. Describe it in your own words: a low bridge, a blunt tip, a hump, wide nostrils, or breathing problems. If you had nose surgery before, say so.
- Share your health history. Existing conditions, regular medicines, drug allergies and any previous surgery or aesthetic procedure.
- A coordinator matches your case to a surgeon. You are assigned a 1:1 coordinator, who handles language and logistics and books a time.
- Talk through options, stay length and cost range. This is where you receive your quote and what it includes.
- Confirm the plan in person. The final surgical plan is confirmed at the in-person consultation on the day you arrive in Seoul.
You can read how the online session works on our consultation page. One point is worth being precise about. An online consultation is a consultation and a plan, not a diagnosis. Measurements that depend on examination, whether an existing implant changes the approach, and anaesthesia clearance are confirmed in person.

What should you check alongside a quote?
A quote is only useful if you know what the trip around it looks like. When your quote arrives, check these points with your coordinator before you book flights.
| Operation | Stitches removed | Follow-up visits | Back to daily activities |
|---|---|---|---|
| Augmentation rhinoplasty | After about 10 days | 2 visits for stitch removal | 7-10 days |
| Hump removal | After about 10 days | 2 visits for stitch removal | 7-10 days |
| Alarplasty | After 7-10 days | 2 visits for stitch removal | 3 days |
| Functional rhinoplasty | After about 10 days | 2 visits for stitch removal | 7-10 days |
| Nose revision surgery | About 10 days | 2 visits for stitch removal | 5 days |
Use this checklist when you read your quote:
- Stay length. Plan to stay in Seoul for at least 10 days after nose surgery. That covers check-ups, splint and stitch removal and initial recovery. Cabin pressure can cause discomfort if you fly too soon.
- Follow-up visits. Every nose operation above needs 2 visits for stitch removal. Make sure your dates allow for both.
- Who operates. Under the surgeon real-name system, the surgeon you consult is recorded as the surgeon who operates.
- Stay and transport. Accommodation and transportation can be arranged for international patients. Ask what applies to you.
- Aftercare after you fly. Your coordinator collects photos at weeks 1-2, month 1 and month 3 and passes them to your surgeon.
- Revision timing. If you want revision, standard guidance is about 12 months after the last operation, and longer after multiple operations.
Recovery timelines describe typical healing. Swelling and the pace of refinement differ from person to person, and the tip can take the longest to settle.
Advertised fixed price or personalised quote?
Some patients compare a fixed figure they saw online with a quote from us. We cannot speak for how other clinics build their prices. The table shows the questions worth asking of any figure, and how our quote answers them.
| Question to ask | Advertised fixed price | Personalised quote at Banobagi |
|---|---|---|
| What is the figure based on? | A procedure name | Your photos, your goals and the plan they need |
| Does it reflect a previous nose surgery? | Varies by clinic | Yes, revision is planned around the cause of the earlier result |
| Are combined procedures shown? | Varies by clinic | Alarplasty or functional correction are part of the quote when your plan includes them |
| Is stay length included? | Varies by clinic | Stay length is discussed with the quote |
| Who operates? | Varies by clinic | Recorded under the surgeon real-name system |
| What happens after you fly? | Varies by clinic | Photo check-ins through your coordinator at weeks 1-2, month 1 and month 3 |
The point is not that one approach is right for every clinic. It is that a figure only helps you if you know which operation it describes. A korean nose job cost that fits your face starts with your photos.
If you are still deciding which operation you need, our guide to Korean rhinoplasty explains augmentation, reduction, alarplasty and revision in more detail. For the wider trip, read plastic surgery in Korea for foreigners, or see how plastic surgery costs work across the face.

We would rather you did not choose on the number alone. An advertised nose job price answers for a procedure name, while your nose may need a different set of steps, so ask what the figure covers, how many stitch-removal visits sit inside it, and who looks after you once you are home.
Summary
- There is no single answer to how much a nose job in Korea costs, because "nose job" covers at least seven different operations.
- Your quote depends on which parts are treated, the materials, the cartilage source, previous surgery, combined procedures and breathing concerns.
- Start with a front photo and a side profile; add a 45-degree angle if you can.
- Check the stay length (at least 10 days in Seoul), the 2 stitch-removal visits, and aftercare after you fly alongside the quote.
- The final surgical plan is confirmed at the in-person consultation in Seoul.
To start, send a front photo and a side-profile photo on WhatsApp and tell us what you want to change. We reply with the procedures that fit your nose and a personalised quote. Results and recovery differ between individuals, so the plan is confirmed after we examine you in person.
Frequently asked questions
Is it cheaper to get a nose job in Korea?
We do not publish prices or make cost comparisons with other countries, because a comparison only holds if both quotes describe the same operation. Send photos first, and compare quotes by what they include: the procedures, the anaesthesia, the follow-up visits and the aftercare once you are home.
Does the quote include the consultation in Seoul?
Ask your coordinator to list what the quote covers. The online consultation can settle a cost range and what is included. The final surgical plan is confirmed at the in-person consultation when you arrive, because some measurements depend on examination.
Can I get a quote without showing my face?
Not a useful one. The plan, and therefore the cost, depends on your bridge, tip, nostrils and profile, and those can only be judged from photos.
I already have a nasal implant. Will that change the quote?
It can. Whether an existing implant or previous surgery changes the approach is one of the things that can only be confirmed in person. Tell us about it when you send photos, and share any records you have, although records are optional.
What age can I have rhinoplasty in Korea?
We wait until the nose has finished growing. For girls this is often around 16 to 17, and for boys around 17 to 18, but everyone matures at a different rate. Realistic expectations matter as much as physical growth.
How long do I need to stay in Korea for a nose job?
Plan to stay in Seoul for at least 10 days after nose surgery. That covers check-ups, splint and stitch removal and initial recovery before you fly. Your surgeon confirms the actual dates, so do not book a return flight before the plan is confirmed.
